Paxos does not have an airport. Most visitors travel to Paxos via Corfu, where the nearest airport is Kerkyra (also known as Kapodistrias), with the flight code CFU. This airport is located close to Corfu Town.
If you prefer a stress-free experience and want to avoid planning every detail yourself or worrying about potential weather-related cancellations, you can book your transfer with Meander Travel. We’ve been collaborating with them for many years, and they can assist you with a stress-free transfer.
For those who prefer to organize their trip independently, please find a step-by-step guide and all the essential information you need below.
-Direct flights to Corfu are available from most European airports between April and late October.
-The most popular charter flights are typically on Mondays and Fridays.
–Tip: Early morning departures are recommended to avoid missing the last hydrofoil to Paxos.
-Upon arrival, exit to the taxi rank outside the arrivals area.
-There are usually several taxis available, and the travel time to the port is approximately 8-15 minutes.

–Note: It’s advisable to book your hydrofoil tickets in advance to ensure availability.
-Ferry from Igoumenitsa: If you are on the mainland, you can also catch a ferry boat from Igoumenitsa. Some visitors prefer to take a ferry from Corfu to Igoumenitsa and then another ferry to Paxos. You can book tickets here: Kerkira Lines.

Do I need to book everything in advance?
Yes, especially if you are visiting in July and August, which are peak months and can get very busy.
What should I do if my flight is delayed?
Some companies may wait a few minutes for you (Kamelia has done this in the past). However, if you miss the last boat, you can try to find a sea taxi. They can be pricey, so it’s best to find others to share the cost.
